Stanley Kubrick's "The Shining" Minus Delbert Grady | Artwork, Stills & Video

Another video from Richard Trammell Rich has skills. He has offered up this scene from Kurbicks "The Shining"... where Delbert Grady suggests that Jack "correct" his wife and son from interfering with Jack performing his duties as new (The Only) caretaker of the Overlook Hotel...just as Grady has done in the past during his tenor as caretaker. (Grady chopped up his family with an axe when they interfered) If you haven't seen "The Shining" and call yourself a film buff, there is a massive gap in your education and film vocabulary. You also should avoid this scene. Otherwise, enjoy. ARTWORK […]

David Fincher's "Fight Club" Minus Tyler Durden | Video

Here's a scene from the almighty "Fight Club" with Tyler (Brad Fucking Pitt) Durden removed. You are not the car you drive. You are not how much money you have in the bank. I wanted to destroy something beautiful. Much credit goes to Richard Trammell for being awesome, slick and offering this up to us Space Monkeys out here, still patiently awaiting our next assignments from Project Mayhem HQ.   Bravo. Hope he does the whole film... Thanks Uncle Paul. From Mashable, With Love... Related articles How THAT Fight Club Scene Would Look Without Tyler Durden Cool Videos: Check out this […]

Oliver Stone's "Natural Born Killers" | Quote & Scene

"Once upon a time, a woman was picking up firewood. She came upon a poisonous snake frozen in the snow. She took the snake home and nursed it back to health. One day the snake bit her on the cheek. As she lay dying, she asked the snake, "Why have you done this to me?" And the snake answered, "Look, bitch, you knew I was a snake." Lone Survivor Review
By Dan Buffa

I'll be honest. Peter Berg's tribute to Marcus Luttrell, who was a part of a mission gone wrong in 2005 called Operation Red Wing, is as powerful as it gets and deserves every set of eyes this month as it gets released wide. I saw it in November and was knocked on my ass immediately. Here is my take and why it is the best thing I saw in 2013. Quick Setup-Mark Wahlberg stars as Marcus Luttrell, the author of the first-person memoir “Lone Survivor,” whose book has become a motivational resource for its lessons on how the power of […]

REVIEW: Spike Jonze "Her"

Spike Jonze "Her" | A VoicesFILM Review Dear God. I didn't see that ending coming. I have just seen Spike Jonze latest film, "Her". It floored me. This isn't what I expected at all. You watch the fluffy and attractive trailer and think: "Ahhhh. A new and interesting sweet love story." Listen. Spike Jonze wouldn't waste his time bringing you a nice little love story. This film is on par with the brilliant "Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind" from Michael Kondry & Charlie Kaufman. That film is still jacking me up and I saw it 10 years ago. Saying […]

Norman Jewison's "Moonstruck"

When I was young... "I never needed anyone... And making love was just for fun..." No. Seriously... When I was young, this film came out...1987, I was 13...and I wouldn't touch it man. I was allergic to it. I wanted nothing to do with a sappy, love story, Cher dancing with the moon movie. I was too busy watching Hitchcock's "Vertigo" and Scorsese's "Taxi Driver" at that point, building and developing my film vocabulary. I saw it. I ended up enjoying it. I forgot it. A few years later, my sister Fawn asks me one time... "Do you like "Moonstruck"? […]

George Miller's "The Witches Of Eastwick", 1987 | "Women" Scene | Video & Images

George Miller's "The Witches Of Eastwick", 1987 Jack - "Women" | Art, Trailer & Clip Writing my mondo The Dark Knight review the other day, I brought up... Happy New Year Again By The Way... I brought up Jack in Eastwick. Got me thinking of how on point he was in that film. My favorite scene, pure genius on his part, was when he...the Devil...is forced by the ladies...the witches...to take refuge from their wrath in a church as the ladies have him throwing up cherries and are attacking him with a wax voodoo doll because he has been abusing […]

American Film Institute AFI Awards 2013 Official Selections | 10 Film Trailers & 10 TV Trailers

What I like about these lists is that AFI states these nominations aren't about a honoring a single film or series for each category, but instead the list serves to celebrate and acknowledge excellence in the industry. Not a competition, more of a congratulations. Also, they honor both film and television which is as it should be in my opinion. The full article from AFI is here .
