A new RoboCop is being unleashed, directed by José Padilha, this one stars Joel Kinnaman of AMC & Netflix’s The Killing.
And Gary Oldman is in there too, along with Michael Keaton.
However I still say we didn’t need a reboot.
If it ain’t broken leave it the fuck alone.
Paul Verhoeven did an amazing job with the 1987 original, he didn’t make an action movie he never makes a genre film;
Verhoeven makes Verhoeven films.
And you can’t touch Peter Weller. That guy had an immediate effect on me when I saw him in Alan Parker’s Shoot The Moon when I was a kid in, and then Michael Apted‘s Firstborn in 1984.
Stellar.
