Being A Father:
6 Months In

What Is Up Yo?

How are you? All you lovers of film…

Lovers of the long format series…

Lovers, of visual storytelling…

Thanks for clicking.

I hope you are well. I hope you and yours are safe as we journey into another winter…

That’s here in New York, and to everyone on the Planet we fall Earth 🌎 🌍 🌏.

And God help us this holiday season, those of us that live and work hard for the dollars…

Here’s to our families

Our friends

And our friends, who are our family’s.

I may get a little deeper on you here at Voices, the line between my spiritual believes and my feelings and my love of film are intersecting now I have a daughter.

It’s all changed.

It’s all different.

Every moment, every moment is so fucking important.

Realizations that only become more important during times of birth…

When we witness the start of a new life…

And during times of loss, during times of death.

It seems like we only say the things we really…

Truly mean to each other during moments of tragedy and joy.

Death is a reminder to us all and that it’s coming, our walk home.

Birth reminds us of the pure magic of life.

Every moment.

So important.

So finite.

I just watched my wife get pregnant, carry our baby in her for nine months and then I watched her deliver our daughter into the world.

Men are pussy’s.

No. Really.

We have watched her grow every day for the last six months and it’s been life altering and insane and beautiful.

Watching her evolve, grow over six months…

And I’m photographing everything.

When she smiles at me, when I cause her to smile…

Sorry guys and gals, took a little trip there.

I just watched all the Fast & Furious films.

It was sad to see Paul Walker in his youth, in his prime…part of a monster that started as a single bad ass movie

The tribute to him at the end of Furious 7 was beautiful

I felt that, in my opinion, my favorites of the 8 films were as follows:

8: The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift (3)

7: Fast & Furious (4)

6: 2 Fast 2 Furious (2)

5: The Fate of the Furious (8)

4: Fast Five (5)

3: Furious 7 (7)

2: Fast & Furious 6 (6)

1: The original…

For Paul…
